A small plane crashed into a fence at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on Friday morning.

According to an airport representative, the pilot was taxiing to the runway when he had some sort of medical emergency and lost control of the plane.

The propeller on the plane cut right through the chain-link boundary fence for the airport.

The pilot was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center. There is no word yet on his condition.
